Children can get arthritis at any age from babies through the teen years. many will grow out of it, especially with the right treatment, nutritional support and exercise therapy. However it is difficult to detect as children get so many ailments and the younger they are cannot describe the pain. Carefully monitor children fr sleep disorders, irritability, redness and selling around the joint area. If you feel you are being dismissed by your physician keep on top of things, get second opinions, there is no need for children to suffer in silence.
